Il francese della Lotus ha avuto uno scarto repentino sulla destra della pista che lo ha portato a entrare in contatto con l’incolpevole Lewis Hamilton. La ruota posteriore destra di Grosjean ha toccato l’anteriore sinistra dell’inglese della McLaren e questo ha innescato una carambola memorabile.
Coinvolti, oltra a Grosjean ed Hamilton anche Fernando Alonso, Kamui Kobayashi e Sergio Perez.
